See Archie Del Mundo's debut film TAKSIKAB.

Set at the inauguration of the new President is the inter-woven tales of people dealing with daily lives: their relationships, desires and their means of survival. A taxi driver trying to stop his best friend from leaving for the province while his ex-wife comes back to his life; a young actor doing extra job as male prostitute; a Fil-Am trying to fill his need for drugs; and a young cigarette vendor who also act as pimp at night. All of them get through their harsh realities with hopes of a better tomorrow while their fate awaits them to cross its path in the uncaring streets of Manila.

On Anime: Spring 2011 Review
Spring brought such great amount of produced anime. Its like the industry making up for the loss of last season, from the earthquakes to Satoshi Kon (yes, I'm still not moving on), with almost more than 30 new series aired and such great number of OVA, DVD/Blu-ray, and Feature length films, this season has been one of the best these past few years.
30 Day Film Challenge Day 12 - A Film By Your Least Favorite Director

Engkwentro (Pepe Diokno, 2009)

Dagim (Joaquin Pedro Valdez, 2010)

We Still Don't Know The Name of the Flower We Saw That Day (2011)

Super Peace Busters are friends forever.
I was crying almost halfway through the last episode. It was heart-breaking, and touching at the same time. But it was not the reason I cried.
