First time ko manood ng gawa ni Stanley. May cult following na siya sa Dusk Angel at Hazard. Sci-fi ang main forte.

Maganda ang rehistro ng pelikula, close-up ng Mars. Masarap sa mata. Yun nga lang... bitin.

Di naman sa tinatamad ako, pero, halos wala talagang nangyari sa short film kundi isang naligaw na astronaut lang sa Mars.

Sa isang paguusap kay Christopher Gozum (dir: Anacbanua, 2009) kamakailan lang, napag-usapan namin ang fusion ng documentary at narrative-fiction sa pelikula. Ang Ninanais ang main topic namin nun. Naisip ko nun na napakabago nun para sa kin, kaya tuwang-tuwa ako nun sa Ang Ninanais. At marahil, bago rin iyun para rin kay Gozum. Iniisip niya ring gumawa ng sarili niyang bersiyon ng praktis na iyon.

Future Shorts Philippines April - Bacollywood Film Festival Short Films

Last April 30, ginanap ang April screening ng Future Shorts Philippines. Very weird of me, dahil kung dati, sobrang aga ko, ngayon, sobrang late naman ako for the screening. Dahil late ako, unti na lang ang naabutan kong short films. (Salamat kay Erin Tagudin para sa pagpigil sa amin na umalis ng maaga, haha. dahil sa iyo, napanuod ko ang mga sumusunod)
